IC Card Prepaid Gas Meters

 IC Card Pre-Paid Gas Meters can be divided into two series. Domestic IC Card Gas Meters and Industrial IC Card Gas Meters. Domestic card is for residential use and the Industrial IC Card is used for Ccommercial Oorganizations.

 SERIES  OF  DOMESTIC  IC  CARD  GAS  METER:

The series of MKIC-6, MKIC-7 IC card gas meters, include IC card controller, IC card, base meter and valve. IC card controller adopts the CSIC chip, which is provided and designed by American Motorola Company, as the core of the controller. It guarantees the controller to work satisfactory and also adopts anticorrosion wear-resisting, to guarantee the controller 100,000 times' reading and writing. The valve adopts the patent electrical machinery valve, which has high quality. The valve can be used for open and close more than 10,000 times. The smart card adopts the logic of the America ATMEL to encrypt the IC card, having 64 DES encrypt function and protecting the customer’s data. At the same time, our company has perfect system management software which can help the gas company to manage the data.

Part-1 IC  card  controller:

The series of MKIC-6 & MKIC-7 IC card gas meter adopts the CSIC chip which is provided and designed by Motorola company specially for the Controller, working as its core to ensure reliability, the super-thin card base ensures 100,000 times' reading and writing for the Controller .They  use double spring pipes to gather data. The battery adopts three 5# alkaline battery, which costs a little and users may replace the battery voluntarily, the power failure and valve turning off adopt the super electric capacity, It does not need to set in the lithium battery to offer the power which limits the gas company to worry about the battery life. The liquid crystal screen display Chinese character, 7 digit and four Chinese and English instructions and its condition mark, which may inquire accumulative consumption and current consumption.. The number of the machine parts are few, thus causing the breakdown spot to its lowest. The controller has more than 20 kinds of functions, which basically satisfies the current demand of various gas companies. The functions can be altered on the request of the company.

Part-2  IC  card:

The IC card in the series of MKIC-6 & MKIC-7 IC Card Gas Meter adopts AT88SC153 logic encryption card which is produced by American ATMEL Corporation. The AT88SC153 logic encryption card’s high security is extremely outstanding. With the exception of logic encryption, it also has the high security authentication and the counter- interception track technology. It also may guarantee the IC card not to be misused or interfered. The IC card can be divided into the customer card, the management card and the examination card. 

1.       Customer Card: Memory of the user’s gas consumption.

2.       Management card: The gas company operates on each kind of special phenomenon of the meters. It divides into the multistage management and different jurisdiction holds different management card.

3.       Examination card: Examine whether it is normal for the valve to open and to shut .It also may use in measuring testing and ignition testing.

Part-3  Mechanical  meter:

The series of MKIC-6 outside meter produced can cope easily with the meters from different companies and different series of meters. The series of MKIC-6 outside meter is designed according to Chongqing Mountain City’s metal casing meter.

The difference between inside and outside meter:

1. The controller of the outside meter is independent. It can be equipped with different series of gas meter as per the requirements of Gas Company. It is extremely convenient to change the old unit by changing

the base meter. At present the series of MKIC-7 can be equipped with Chongqing Mountain City’s metal casing meter, which has its certain limitation.

B.  Compared with outside set meter, inside set meter is more professional.

C.  From the service angle, outside set meter is simple; inside set meter more complex.

Part-4  Valve:

The valve is an important part in the gas meter. Because the ball valve has high reliability and good antimagnetic performance and the internal leakage may be controlled in IS, our company adopts the patent electrical ball valve, its main technical parameters are as follows:

Functions of MKIC-6 & MKIC-7 IC Card Gas Meters:  

Display function                 

LCD display: 7-digit LCD display (8 digits stored actually), display accuracy 0.1 cubic meters minimum. Credit、accumulative consumption and other user's data displayed in addition to "purchase gas", "voltage low", "error", "check" and other indications for operation and check.

Inquiry function                  

By pressing the button (with the user’s card not insert in the slot), consumer can enquire accumulative gas consumption, surplus quantity, and negative counting value displayed (also break down phenomenon) on each screen of LCD respectively.

One card for one meter            

The Controller can be set working as "one card for one meter" mode that means a user card is exclusively for one meter and the meter cannot accept any other card. If card is lost, the user has to apply for a new card and the lost one will be made invalid at the same time

Accumulation                     

The gas consumption (E) will be accumulated by the Controller for comparison with the mechanical meter.

Negative counting                  

A negative number will be displayed if credit in the Controller is zero meanwhile pulse signal remains. It indicates the valve has not been turned off completely or been taken apart. The negative counting can be checked directly by the Controller and the gas consumption during the period of negative counting will be reduced from next newly-input gas amount.

Check-up function                

In the usage process, if there is no pulse counting, then “display check" and shut the valve. At this time, the maintenance person has to investigate. This function can be used for the examination of missed of gas and the problem that the meter itself cannot count.

Pull out hinting function          

If user forgets to pull out the card, the system will tweet to show the error after about 5 seconds and stops within 25 seconds. If the user still does not pull out the card, the valve will close. After pulling out the card and pressing the key, the valve will open.

Data re-saving function           

The controller establishes the "search" key, which returns the data which is inside the machine back to the card (after input the management card). It also can transfer all data that inside the machine through a specialized management card to another machine.

Over flowing protect function     

The valve will automatically close when it over flows. Press the button to open the valve when the flowing becomes normal.

Low-voltage checking function    

The machine can examine the electric voltage of the battery automatically. When the battery quantity is not enough it will show" Low battery" and close the valve. Replace with new battery to open the valve.

Double-alarm function            

The Controller will automatically sound the alarm when gas balance is below 50 cubic meters (subject to the limitation set) and continue to warn the user by bleeping every 0.1 cubic meter reduction. The customer can press the "search" key to open the valve and continue to use the gas.

Data saving function                

When paroxysmal electric stops, the data will not be lost, because there is a piece of “EEPROM” chip inside the controller. The data comes back with the resumption of the electric.

Self-protection from theft operation

If the customer uses the meter illegally, the displayer will indicate and shut the valve. After stopping the illegal operation press the “search” key to reopen the valve.

Gas leaking alarm function          

Our product can be used with the Gas enunciator. When the enunciator alarms, the valve will be automatically shut off.

Automatic switch function            

The valve can be set to automatically half open or half closed, under the condition of long-term motionless valve, in order to insure the normal operation of the valve.

Automatic reading and recording card function

After inserting the card, the meter will automatically read and recording the data, detect the validity of the data and accumulate the data into the left quantity. If there is any mistake, the meter will display “error” and some special words to indicate the error type. The maintenance man can solve the problems according to the display words.

Maintaining check function    The last three times maintaining note can be checked out in order to prevent the falsification of the maintenance man.

 SERIES  OF INDUSTRIAL IC CARD GAS METER

Product  synopsis:

The smart card adopts the logic of the ATMEL to encrypt the IC card, having 64 DES encrypt function and to protect the customer’s data. Machine contains approximately 30 kinds of main and auxiliary function, which can meet with the request of customers and can satisfy all the applications in the profession. The machine’s primary devices are extremely limited, which can simplify the production process and reduces the chance of breakdown. At the same time, the system management software can also provide a safety and reliable modern management. 

Main  Function:

Display function                   

7-digit LCD display (8 digits stored actually), display accuracy 0.1 cubic meter minimum. Four Chinese character display and more than ten kinds of words indicate the special situation and error indication.

Inquiry function                  

By pressing the button to inquire accumulative gas consumption, surplus quantity, and negative counting value displayed etc.

Check-up function                

In using process, in a certain time, if there is no pulse counting, then “display check" shuts the valve. At this time, the maintenance person has to come to investigate. This function can be used in case of illegal use of gas or the meter itself does not count.

Low-voltage checking function   

The machine can examine the electric voltage of the battery automatically and show it on the LCD.

Purchasing indicate function       

Double purchasing indicates function. Purchasing indication will be displayed when gas is not enough.
